Gil Seton serves as Manager at SP Investment Fund, LLC, a Los Angeles-based firm. As Manager, he acquires and invests in limited partnerships that own affordable apartment communities. Gil Seton's entire career has been dedicated to affordable housing. He previously served in roles as president of Showplace Development, Inc., and project manager at Calmark Development. Gil Seton has extensive experience investing in affordable housing and is familiar with an array of government programs created to subsidize housing. He has experience working with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s CDBG, HOME, Section 108, and Project Based Section 8 programs, a variety of Federal Housing Administration loan programs, the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development, Century Freeway Housing Program, California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, etc..<br />

Gil Seton received his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, with an emphasis in real estate and finance. While there, he was chosen to receive the Samuel Furman Memorial Fellowship for excellence in real estate and finance. In addition to partnering with non-profit organizations and directly being a supporter of social service initiatives for seniors and families that are residents of affordable housing, Gil Seton is also involved in supporting various other charitable activities, including that he is a longtime supporter of University of California at San Francisco’s Women’s HIV Program and the Hearts with Hope Foundation.
